Minecraft Server Plugins
A practical directory of mainstream server plugins, grouped by what they actually do.
Use the official website or download page to confirm support for your server software, Minecraft version, and required dependencies.
Core & Management
Core administration, permissions, packet/API libraries, world tools, profiling, and management plugins used across many server types.
Extra Features
Menus, holograms, NPCs, teleportation, chat interaction, tags, world pre-generation, and other optional quality-of-life features.
Anti-Grief
Regions, claims, rollback, logging, plots, and land systems used to prevent or recover from grief.
Moderation
Bans, mutes, vanish, staff workflows, inventory recovery, and other tools for day-to-day moderation.
Anti-Cheat
Anti-cheat and anti-exploit tools focused on movement, combat, automation, ESP, and other unfair client behavior.
Authentication
Authentication tools mainly used by offline-mode servers (Cracked Servers) and special proxy setups.
Do you actually need an authentication plugin?
If your server uses online-mode=true, you normally do not need one. These plugins are mainly for an offline-mode server (Cracked Server) or a special proxy/hybrid authentication design. Offline mode means the server is not relying on normal Mojang/Microsoft Java account authentication, so usernames alone are not proof of identity.
MSH strongly recommends buying Minecraft and playing through legitimate, authorized channels. Cracked/unofficial launchers or repackaged clients can expose users to modified executables, unwanted software, malware or credential theft, and unauthorized copies may violate Minecraft's license terms.
Currencies
Money, points, and custom currencies that shops, jobs, rewards, and other plugins can use.
Shops & Trading
Admin shops, player shops, direct player trading, marketplaces, and competitive auction systems.
Crates & Rewards
Crates, keys, vouchers, recurring rewards, quest passes, and other configurable reward systems.
Custom Enchantments
Custom-enchantment systems for vanilla-style enchanting, progression-heavy servers, and advanced custom effects.
Custom Items, Blocks & Content
Resource-pack content, RPG items, custom recipes, and plugin-based modpack-style systems.
Custom Models & Mobs
Custom models, bosses, mob scaling, and PvE progression systems.
RPG, Skills, Jobs & Quests
Skills, jobs, classes, quests, and long-term progression.
Network & Cross-Version
Client-version translation, Bedrock access, and cross-server data synchronization.
Discord, Maps & Analytics
Discord bridges, web maps, analytics, and server-list voting infrastructure.
Gamemode Cores
Plugins that form the central gameplay loop for SkyBlock, Factions, Prison, BedWars, and other modes.
